Hi there! Let us introduce ourselves! We are Rickey and Kelly, the brains and beauty behind Driftless Endurance (we’ll let you be the judge on who is who).

 

Rickey got into running after ending his collegiate baseball career. He has participated in his fair share of marathons and half marathons (10/50 states so far), and dabbled with triathlons and duathlons before falling in love with trail and ultra running.

 

Kelly tried for years to convince herself that she was a distance runner instead of a sprinter, but ultimately is much happier hiking the trails and crewing for Rickey.

We both grew up in Wisconsin and enjoy camping, spending time with our two lively GSPs (the Drifty Dogs), and surrounding ourselves with the sights, sounds, and smells of nature.

​

We started Driftless Endurance to provide experiences for individuals who are looking to challenge themselves while also promoting connection to the vast and beautiful resources throughout the Driftless Area of Wisconsin. We believe that Rickey’s passion for trail/ultra running and background in race directing, combined with Kelly’s sociable personality and respect of the outdoors, will bring fun and exciting events to ultimately give back to the community that we love.
